Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pastry kitchen.
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety requirements for restaurants
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the standard and the quality set by the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all legally required hygiene and safety practices at all times, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and other relevant areas.
  • Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
  • Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef / Junior Sous Chef / Chef de Partie.
  • Assist to supervise line cook or commis, as required.
