MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To support expanding the telemedicine business and in line with strategic objectives aimed at establishing and expanding the virtual health business models for Mediclinic Middle East

The telemedicine scope encompasses a wide range of services, including teleconsultations, second opinions, cross-border telemedicine, teleradiology, patient education, remote patient monitoring, telepresence, telediagnosis, telerobotic and robot-assisted services, telepharmacy, virtual ICUs, telepsychiatry, telecardiology, and telestroke, all of which work together to enhance healthcare delivery and accessibility across various medical disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans to expand telemedicine services, increase utilisation and improve patient outcomes
  • Create and maintain relationships with funders, corporates, and business partners to facilitate the expansion of telemedicine services
  • Lead the development for new and existing telemedicine services with cross functional stakeholders
  • Monitor the telemedicine services and implement continuous process improvement initiatives

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Master’s degree in health administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Advanced certifications or degrees in Telemedicine, Healthcare Management, Product Management, or Analytics would be highly desired.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in telemedicine or virtual health
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare
  • Proven experience in developing and scaling virtual health services and products
  • Proven experience in managing teleconsultations, teleradiology, telepharmacy, virtual ICUs, and remote monitoring solutions.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements based on telemedicine KPIs

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Telemedicine business solutions
  • Virtual health market, trends and key drivers
  • Knowledge of mobile applications and web portal technologies
  • Business intelligence tools e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase and Tableau
  • Electronic health record architecture and integration layers
  • Project Management Skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Development and execution of a telemedicine strategy and developing of comprehensive business plans for telemedicine services
  • Client service and related management principles – engaging with cross-functional stakeholders for telemedicine projects.
