Technical Support Engineer Jobs

Job Title: Technical Support Engineer Consultant Service
Company: Finesse Direct
Location: Abu Dhabi

Alright, here’s the deal

We’re on the hunt for a seriously seasoned tech whiz. If you’re the type who dreams in PowerShell and could troubleshoot Azure with your eyes closed, keep reading.

Experience Needed:

– 10 to 12 years in the tech trenches. No freshers, sorry.
– 8–10 years deep in Windows, cloud stuff, virtualisation, and infrastructure support. So, yeah, you should know your way around a data center and the cloud.
– 7+ years wrangling Microsoft Azure environments. Not just clicking around—actual hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up experience.

What You Gotta Bring:

– Hardcore Azure knowledge. Seriously, you should know the ins, outs, and weird corners of Microsoft’s cloud.
– Strong grip on Microsoft 365 services, especially when it comes to locking things down tight (security, configurations, the whole deal).
– M365 integration wizardry—if you know how to make these services play nice together, we want you.
– You speak Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP like they’re your second language.
– MS Exchange? Yup, you should know your way around that beast.
– PowerShell scripting chops. Automation isn’t just a buzzword for you, it’s how you survive Monday mornings.
– You understand identity & access management, security best practices, and all those compliance headaches. You don’t just check the boxes, you get why they matter.
– Problem-solving and communication skills that don’t make people want to throw their laptop out the window.
– Azure, AD, and Exchange: you’ve been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
– You’re good solo, but you don’t melt down when it’s time to play nice with a team.
– Hybrid cloud? You’ve bridged the gap between on-prem and Azure more times than you care to count.
– Know your way around Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Sentinel. Not just the marketing terms, the real stuff.
– Backup and disaster recovery in the cloud? You’ve got a plan, and a backup plan for your backup plan.
– Incidents, root cause analysis, documentation—you’ve handled your share of “what the heck just happened?” moments.
– Azure IaaS/PaaS admin experience: check.
– PowerShell scripting… wait, did we mention this already? Yeah, it’s that important.
– Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN. If you don’t know these, yikes.
– Infrastructure monitoring, patching, backup solutions—you know the drill.
– You actually document stuff. SOPs, knowledge bases—you keep things tidy.

Sound like you?

Slide your resume over. Or, you know, send it the normal way. Either way, if you’re the right fit, we’ll know.
