You’ll be the go

To person for rolling out, managing, and squeezing every last bit of value from ServiceNow. Expect to work with a bunch of different teams, poking around in their processes, figuring out what’s broken, and, honestly, making things work better than they ever did before. It’s one of those rare roles where you get to drive real change, not just patch things up with duct tape.

Stuff you absolutely need:

– At least 5 years doing the IT Service Management/Delivery grind.
– You’ve actually built stuff in ServiceNow, not just clicked around. We’re talking design, coding, launching ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, you know the drill).
– Some legit certification—any of these make you look extra shiny: MCSE, CISA, ISC, ITIL expert, COBIT, ServiceNow, ITSM, DevOps, Prince2/APM, Six Sigma.
– You get ITSM and governance frameworks inside out. People come to you for best practices, operational risk, and asset management wisdom.
– You like to solve problems, not just point them out. You’re chill under pressure, business-savvy, and don’t lose your cool when stuff goes sideways.
– Time management? You’ve got it. Juggling projects and deadlines is basically your party trick.
– You can fly solo or play nice with the team—local, global, compliance, legal, info sec—whoever needs you.
– You’ve been the ServiceNow admin/dev/platform owner. You know what you’re doing.
– You actually understand how ITSM and ServiceNow fit together, not just the buzzwords.
– Scripting, workflow design, integrations—you’re comfortable getting your hands dirty.
– You can wrangle projects, talk to stakeholders without breaking a sweat, and actually get things done.
– If you’ve got a ServiceNow Admin cert (or something close), you’re golden.
