JOB PURPOSE:

Accountable for creating and delivering effective campaigns, activations and experiences that support the Energy for Life story. Plan and implement a sponsorship strategy that matches the ADNOC Group brand goals and vision, gets the most value and ROI from its sponsorship spending, and fulfills the contractual obligations and benefits. Find new opportunities, make the sponsorships more creative and appealing, and design memorable guest experiences for the stakeholders. Work with other teams in the organization with a One ADNOC mindset to make sure all opportunities are explored and all value is unlocked.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Create and implement a sponsorship plan that supports the overall ADNOC Group brand goals and vision.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners that generate commercial and reputational benefits for ADNOC Group.
  • Deliver on the contractual obligations and advantages from the sponsorship deals.
  • Assess and measure the outcomes and ROI of the sponsorships and activations using a solid evaluation framework.
  • Explore and pursue new possibilities and best practices in the sponsorship industry that can improve ADNOC Group’s brand image and reputation.
  • Plan, develop and execute outstanding activations that demonstrate ADNOC Group’s Energy for Life story and engage the target audiences.
  • Provide and manage memorable guest experiences for the internal and external stakeholders at the sponsored events and activations
  • Work together with other teams and functions within ADNOC Group to ensure consistency and integration of sponsorship activities and messages.
  • Conduct post-event analysis and feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance the quality and impact of the events and activations.
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Generic Accountabilities:

Supervision

  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets

  • Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section’s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Performance Management

  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports

  • Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal

  • VP, Sponsorship.
  • Any other Function/Department as required.

External

  • External consultants and third party service providers.
  • ADNOC Group Companies.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 10 years of relevant experience in sponsorship, activation, event management or related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sponsorship strategies and activations that deliver brand and business goals
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with external partners and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for creating engaging and memorable experiences
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude
  • Knowledge and understanding of the ADNOC Group brand, vision and values
  • Knowledge and understanding of the sponsorship industry, trends and best practices
