Sales Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our sales team in achieving targets by coordinating sales activities and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role involves assisting with sales efforts, ensuring order fulfillment, collaborating with other departments, motivating staff, managing administrative tasks, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
To excel as a Sales Coordinator, you should have excellent organizational and administrative skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service are also essential.
Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:
– Assist the sales team in boosting productivity by arranging customer appointments and providing Sales Representatives with high-quality, up-to-date support materials.
– Handle urgent calls, emails, and messages in the absence of sales representatives, address customer inquiries, communicate delays, arrange delivery dates, and schedule marketing events.
– Process orders received by phone, email, or mail, verifying that prices, discounts, and product numbers are correct.
– Enter orders into the system, ensure they are processed according to customer specifications, and verify that all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient handling of sales, marketing, inquiries, and deliveries.
– Develop and maintain filing systems to keep sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department.
– Recruit, train, and manage sales staff, ensuring they meet their quotas and goals.
– Oversee budgets for expenses such as bonuses, marketing, and travel.
– Enhance the attractiveness of the company’s products and services to potential customers.
– Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Sales Coordinator Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales.
– Experience as a sales coordinator or in an administrative role is a plus.
– Strong team development and leadership skills.
– Proficiency in computer applications.
– Excellent administrative, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
– Outstanding communication, sales, and customer service skills.
– Ability to multitask, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
