Avenir International Engineers
Projects Coordinator Jobs
Job Title: Projects Coordinator
Company: Avenir International Engineers
Location: Abu Dhabi
Alright
Here’s the lowdown. If you’re the kind of person who knows their way around paperwork, regulations, and people who love to stamp things, keep reading.
You’ll basically be the main go
Between for the company and all those government folks—the ones who sign off on your permits and NOCs (No Objection Certificates, for the uninitiated). Inside the company, you’re also the glue holding the Projects Division together, making sure everyone’s on the same page, and nothing slips through the cracks with authorities. If you’ve ever wanted to be the reason a project actually happens on time, this is it.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing (a.k.a. Key Stuff You Can’t Ignore):
1. Playing Middleman: Chatting with government departments, municipalities, and all those regulatory types. Basically, you make sure nobody’s missing the paperwork train.
2. NOC & Permit Wrangler: You’ll prep, submit, and chase after every single form, NOC, and permit. If there’s a stamp, your name’s probably on it.
3. Official Email Guru: You’ll draft, send, and keep tabs on all those formal letters and emails—inside and outside the company. If you hate email, run now.
4. Fee Tracker: Someone’s gotta make sure the government gets paid on time, right? That’s you.
5. Relationship Builder: It’s not just about forms. You’ll also need to keep external partners and stakeholders happy (or at least, not angry).
6. Compliance Watchdog: If it’s a rule, you need to know it—and make sure the team sticks to it.
7. Documentation Ninja: Your files are so organized, Marie Kondo would be jealous.
8. Status Reporter: Expect to give updates—emails, memos, slides, the works—on how approvals are going, and what’s holding things up.
9. Firefighter: Spot a delay or a problem? You’re the one who jumps in and sorts it out (or, if it’s above your pay grade, you escalate it fast).
10. Process Tweaker: See a way to do it better or faster? Speak up! We love that.
What You Need (No Negotiations):
– Minimum 10 years working in the UAE—so you know the system and the people who run it.
– At least 5 years in a similar projects coordination gig.
– You speak and write fluent Arabic and English—slipping up in either one’s a dealbreaker.
– Got a UAE driving license? You’ll need it.
– You already live in Abu Dhabi.
So, if you’re the kind of person who color-codes their sock drawer and still manages to crack a joke in the middle of a dumpster fire, honestly, this job’s screaming your name.
