A Product Sales Engineer is a technical professional who combines engineering knowledge with sales skills to promote and sell technical products or solutions to clients. They work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with the products or services offered by the company. The role involves both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical support, solution design, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Generally, the role of Product Sales Engineers often pertains to industries such as manufacturing, technology, engineering, and construction, where selling involves complex products, machinery, or software. Their role often demands that they are quite technically savvy about what they sell, and equally well-equipped in terms of communications and presentation skills before prospective buyers. They work closely with both the sales and engineering teams to ensure that the product specifications are met, technical questions are answered, and client requirements are fulfilled. At the same time, they are often involved in developing custom solutions and giving good feedback to product development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of architectural products such as GRP, GRC, UHPC, aluminum/glass facades, and stone facades by engaging architects, contractors, and developers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and generate leads.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing technical solutions, and delivering tailor-made proposals and presentations.
  • Meet clientsvisit sites, and attend industry events to promote the features of products and ensure that projects are satisfied.
  • Use CRM tools to monitor the sales performance, report on it, and be updated about the architectural specifications and trends.

Qualifications:
