About The Job

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Gather user feedback using various channels and prioritize feedback into actionable insights.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager to understand, formulate, and document business requirements, investigating and analyzing system functionality.
  • Prioritize new features, customer feedback, and defects/bugs to meet product strategy and objectives.
  • Maintain a prioritized, ready-to-work backlog with an appropriate mix of new features, feature enhancements, and bug fixes with clear acceptance criteria of Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Write clear specifications for minor features and contribute meaningfully to major feature specifications, defining achievable goals and functionality.
  • Co-author the product requirements documents with product managers.
  • Collaborate with a team working in the agile product model, including UX, engineers, and QA to achieve business objectives.
  • Work with multiple Agile Development teams to break down requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Attend and participate in scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Set delivery timing expectations and provide periodic updates.
  • Define KPIs and measures for the features and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and UI/UX to instrument the measures and conduct post-launch analysis to make recommendations for product improvement.
  • Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system product and functionality decision-making process.
  • Encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, bringing the best ideas out of every corner of the company.
  • Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization’s direction.
  • Foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

Job Requirements

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in SaaS platforms within an agile environment.
  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare information technology.
  • Technical expertise and experience with API integrations, HL7, FHIR Interoperability standards
  • Strong knowledge of agile/scrum software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements.
  • Detail-oriented planner with the ability to manage workload, capacity, and prioritization with a structured approach.
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with Engineering, UI/UX, Product Management, leadership, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Fundamental understanding of the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Preferred experience with AI enabled product development
