Job Description

To ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects of the Creative Unit related to creating the guest experience and to ensure that the various Units are profitable and run according to the standards set for the brand in general and the hotel specifically.

  • Design creative vision for all services and outlets
  • Create and manage brand standard manuals and guidelines
  • Curate entertainment concepts & artist management
  • Create and direct immersive experiences true to the brand
  • Design training programs and cast rehearsals in collaboration with the rehearsal team
  • Create and manage guest team buildings
  • Creating and maintaining design integrity and design concepts seasonally
  • Design language and brand tone of voice
  • Grooming standards and costume styling guidelines
  • Conceptualize and manage and update all digital screens content creation and updates
  • Manage Music styling in all guest areas and facilities
  • Photo and video shoot management, script writing, design mood boards aligning with brand guidelines
  • Creation and update of the cast handbook
  • Maintain design integrity and design concept of Paramount Hotels (guardian of the individual hotel design.)
  • Maintain Architecture and Interior design integrity of the Hotel, as outlined and developed by the design and architecture team and as documented in the Brand Standards of the hotel
  • Maintain & develop design language of the space.
  • Develop and supervise overall design language for events to take place in the hotel.
  • Maintain the design intent of furniture layouts as original set up by the interior designer
  • Furniture set up in rooms and public spaces – ensure that everything is in harmony and consistent with the design concept behind the brand and the interior styling.
  • Work closely with the Executive Producer Housekeeping and Executive Producer F&B regarding the set-up of the Rooms, Venues, A list amenities etc.
  • Supervise any changes to interior design due to operational needs.
  • Maintain and develop soft touches of interior design.
  • Develop standards and write standards/ specification guidelines to be used by hotel’s cast.
  • Coordinate purchases of items.
  • Determine the special touches, such as but not limited to: Flowers, Smells / Fragrances Candles, Objects, Artistic touch, Books, Music, Lighting, F&B set-up.
  • Ensure that all photo shootings are handled correctly and are properly organized.
  • To ensure that all Brand Standard Manuals are prepared and updated annually.
  • To do a regular tour of the hotel and note any areas of concern to be discussed with the Unit Manager and do re-training where needed.
  • To attend Executive Meeting and Daily Operations Meeting.
  • To provide the Procurement department with detailed Product and Purchase Specifications for items used in the hotel for styling
  • Liaison with Unit Manager and Executive Producer Food & Beverage regarding any OS&E purchases to ensure that it fits the overall design of the hotel.
  • To identify training needs and plan training programs for the Cast in the Unit and prepare a rehearsal schedule for each Character
  • To keep up to date by checking all various communication tools such as Notice Boards, Emails, Memos and other written documents
  • To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Management
  • To respond to any changes in the work place function as dictated by the hotel.
