LEAMS Education
LEAMS Education Career
Thinking about jumping into the world of education? You’ve probably seen LEAMS Education pop up here and there. They’re kind of a big deal in the UAE, not gonna lie. Been around for ages, pumping out solid professionals left and right. If you’re eyeing a gig in teaching, admin, or even something a little quirky (fire alarm tech, anyone?), this is a place to check out.
So, what’s on the table right now?
Here’s the lineup—brace yourself, it’s a long one
Math Coordinator (Secondary, IGCSE): Got at least a year wrangling math teachers? Or maybe 3 years teaching math in the UAE? You’re in.
Primary Science Coordinator: Same deal—1 year coordinating, or 3 years teaching science to the little ones.
Primary Math Coordinator: If you’re a math whiz for primary kids, same requirements as above.
FS Coordinator: That’s Foundation Stage. Again, 1 year as a coordinator or 3 years teaching FS in the UAE.
Islamic B Teacher: Bachelor’s in Islamic Studies, plus 2 years of UAE classroom battle scars.
Primary PE Teacher: Bachelor’s in PE, 2 years experience. Can you blow a whistle and survive a playground at noon? Perfect.
The rest? Everything from Receptionist to School Bus Nannies to Vice Principal—seriously, it’s a smorgasbord. Humanities, Psychology, Arabic, SEN (that’s Special Ed Needs), Business Studies, Activity Coordinator, you name it. Even a Fire Alarm Technician (no, I’m not making this up).
All gigs are in the UAE
Mostly following the British curriculum (IGCSE/EYFS). If you can start ASAP, even better. Chuck your CV over to careers@leamseducation.com and don’t forget to slap the job title in the subject line. Otherwise, some roles have that “Apply Here” thing—just follow the link if you see it.
So, why bother with LEAMS anyway?
Well, honestly, they’ve got options. If you’re picky about your subject or want to grow your career, they’ve got enough variety to keep you from getting bored. Plus, their grads actually get jobs. Employers like them. No kidding.
Ready to take the plunge?
Hit up their careers site, lurk on job portals, or just shoot over your resume if you see your dream job listed above. Who knows—might be the start of something good.
