Job Position – Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to assist in kitchen operations.

• Address issues and complaints about the cleanliness of work areas/surfaces.

• Work collaboratively with departments such as kitchen and housekeeping in the consistent maintenance and overall cleanliness and function of the space. efficiency.

• Develop and administer an employee work schedule that provides coverage for high demand times and special events.

• Train employees in cleaning, operations, relevant safety and sanitation.

The ideal candidate should possess:

– A bachelor’s degree or hospitality management diploma

– Excellent communication skills – HACCP knowledge and certification

– An understanding of sanitation and hygiene in a food service environment

– Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards

– Previous experience as a stewarding supervisor in a similar role in a 4- or 5-star hotel
