Joyz Designz—part of the Joyz Group (if you know, you know)—is all about doing cool stuff in design and construction. Think sleek architecture, sturdy civil works, and enough aluminium and glass to make your inner neat freak swoon. We’re not just building stuff, we’re building *good* stuff. And we want people who care as much as we do to join the ride.

What’s the gig?

We’re looking for fresh minds and old hands—draftspeople who love a good detail, site engineers who aren’t afraid of a little dust, and honestly, anyone who geeks out over blueprints and site visits. You just got your diploma? Sweet. You’ve been around the block? Even better.

Open Roles & What You’ll Actually Do

1. Junior Draftsman (Zero experience? Tons? Doesn’t matter)
– Crank out CAD drawings so sharp you could cut yourself
– Bounce ideas around with the team (we promise we’re friendly)
– Keep project docs neat, tidy, and where people can actually find them
– Edit stuff when the inevitable “oh wait, can we just tweak this?” happens

2. Site Engineer – Aluminium & Glass (2+ years in the trenches)
– Make sure all that fancy glass and metal gets put up without a hitch
– Talk to suppliers and contractors—herding cats, basically
– Troubleshoot when things go sideways
– Give us the low-down on how things are going, no sugarcoating

3. Site Engineer – Civil (2+ years, battle-tested preferred)
– Run the daily dance at civil construction sites
– Make sure folks are following the blueprints, not just winging it
– Inspections, measurements, quality checks—the usual
– Play nice (or tough) with contractors, consultants, and the whole squad
– Keep site reports legit and up to date

What you gotta bring

Junior Draftsman:
– Diploma or degree (Drafting, Architecture, Engineering—one of those)
– Know your way around AutoCAD or similar
– Detail freak, always learning
– Freshers totally encouraged—don’t be shy

Site Engineer – Aluminium & Glass:
– Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Civil or something close
– 2 years (minimum) actually doing aluminium & glass installs
– Tech skills, project management swagger
– Bonus points for knowing your way around façade systems & shop drawings

Site Engineer – Civil:
– Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
– 2 years actually at construction sites—no armchair engineers, please
– Can read drawings, can steer a busy site
– Good talker, good organizer—someone who keeps the wheels turning
