Binary Minds
IT Support Engineer
Alright, here’s the deal: Binary Minds wants an IT Support Engineer who’s got, like, 4-5 years under their belt. Someone who actually knows their way around the usual chaos—hardware hiccups, software meltdowns, network gremlins, server tantrums, and all that Office 365 wizardry.
What you’ll actually be doing:
– Putting out fires. Network’s down? Server’s acting up? Outlook just ate someone’s calendar? You’re the person everyone runs to. Fix it, tweak it, make it go.
– Setting stuff up. Desktops, servers, routers, Office 365—if it plugs in or pings, you’ll probably have to install it, configure it, and keep it from falling apart.
– Playing gatekeeper. You’ll handle user accounts, permissions, and all the Office 365 admin stuff (emails, Teams, SharePoint, yada yada). Oh, and don’t forget those regular backups. Nobody remembers them—until it’s too late.
– Keeping things safe. Help out with network and server security, keep an eye on system performance, and get roped into IT projects (especially those Office 365 ones, because everyone’s obsessed with Teams now).
Basically
If tech breaks, you fix it. If it’s not broken, you keep it that way. And if someone doesn’t know how to attach a file in Outlook…well, you know the drill.
