Not just any rookie, though—we’re talking about someone with 4-6 years doing their thing in the UAE, especially if you’ve been elbows deep in retail and F&B fit-outs inside malls. You gotta know your way around both the design table and the chaos of actual site work.

What’s on the must-have list?

– You’ve actually done HVAC design and seen it through on-site—not just in theory.
– If you don’t know HAP, AutoCAD, and Duct Sizer like the back of your hand, keep scrolling.
– Those approval hoops with DEWA, DCD, and DM? You can jump through ‘em while half-asleep.
– Oh, and if you can’t coordinate, communicate, and play nice with others, this probably isn’t your scene.
