Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely operate heavy forklifts to transport goods and materials within the warehouse or distribution center.
– Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
– Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
– Conduct regular maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions.
– Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
– Perform pre-operational inspections of forklifts and other equipment.
– Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
– Maintain accurate records of materials handled and movements.
– Assist with inventory management and stock control as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Valid UAE forklift operator license (mandatory).
– High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
– Strong knowledge of forklift operations, safety protocols, and load-handling techniques.
– Ability to operate different types of heavy forklifts and material-handling equipment.
– Excellent physical fitness and stamina to meet the job’s demands.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
