Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about numbers?

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in general accounting and excellent Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
– Keep the general ledger in check and balanced (or, you know, catch it when it’s not).
– Jump into the chaos of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes—because who needs sleep anyway?
– Whip up journal entries like a pro so the numbers actually make sense (or at least look like they do).
– Tag-team with auditors, both the friendly and not-so-friendly kind.
– Go wild with Excel—pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, whatever it takes to make those financial reports shine.
– Regularly match up the general ledger with the sub-ledgers, because surprises are fun… in theory.
– Throw together a checklist for all those monthly accruals and amortizations—cross your fingers nothing gets missed.
– Double-check that every entry lands in the right department’s GL account (no finger-pointing later, please).
– Make sure the bills get paid and those government accounts stay topped up—nobody wants angry calls from utilities.
– Sort out payroll and benefits entries, because people like to get paid on time (shocking, I know).

Experience & Educational Qualifications required:
– A degree in accounting, finance or another related field.
– A certification in accounting is an advantage (CMA / CPA).
– A minimum of 3 years experience as a general ledger accountant.
– Excellent level of understanding of accruals, reconciliation and the period end close.
– Working experience of ERP platforms i.e SAP or Oracle.
– Working knowledge of Infor M3 is an advantage.
– Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel.
