A new mobile game studio is seeking an experienced 2D Artist to collaborate on a freelance basis. The team is currently prototyping a new casual project in the logic puzzle/word space.

Responsibilities

  • Creating high-quality 2D game art, including characters, environments, props, and other game assets.
  • Implementing the 2D assets into the engine (Unity).
  • Collaborating with the design team to conceptualize and iterate on art styles.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with mass-market casual mobile games, evidenced by shipped projects.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in 2D game art production.
  • Proficiency in Unity and understanding of asset optimization techniques.
