Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst

Al Faris Group

Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst

Alright, here’s the deal—Al Faris Group wants a Financial Analyst (or hey, a Senior one if you’re feeling fancy) to jump into the Finance squad in Dubai. If you’re the kind of person who actually gets a kick out of spreadsheets, loves spotting patterns in a sea of numbers, and can whip up a financial model like it’s no big deal—well, you’ll probably fit right in. Bonus points if you know your way around industries where assets aren’t just a footnote, they’re the whole novel. Basically, if turning raw data into real-world business moves sounds like your thing, this gig might be calling your name.

What you’ll actually do:

– Own the whole budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling circus for different business units. No pressure.
– Dive deep into P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements—basically, if there’s a number, you’ll analyze it.
– Whip up monthly management reports and break down all those “why did this go sideways?” variances.
– Team up with ops folks to sort out pricing, costs, and where the profits are hiding.
– Wrestle with gigantic ERP data dumps, plus random “hey can you check this?” ad-hoc analyses.
– Chime in for feasibility studies, investments, and whatever strategic stuff we’re plotting next.

You’ll probably crush it here if you:

– Have somewhere between 3 and 7 years dealing with FP&A, financial reporting, or business analytics. Not your first rodeo.
– Have a degree in Finance, Accounting, Econ, or Engineering. Fancy letters after your name like CA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA? Even better.
– Can do things in Excel that make your colleagues’ heads spin (seriously—pivot tables, macros, the whole shebang).
– Know Power BI (or some other dashboard tool) well enough to teach your grandma.
– Actually understand financial metrics and how they connect to the big picture—not just memorizing ratios.
– Bonus if you’ve tangled with asset-heavy sectors (think equipment rental, logistics, or power stuff).
– Can talk to humans, not just spreadsheets—teamwork and communication actually matter here.
