Job Position – Electrical BIM Coordinator

Company Name – Saudi Diyar Consultants (Cairo Office).

Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise and coordinate electrical BIM models during all phases of the project.
– Perform clash detection and resolution, and coordination with various other disciplines.
– Adhere to the BIM Execution Plan, project standard, and various LOD level requirement.
– Create Revit families and templates, schedules, and parametric properties.
– With the usage of Dynamo, Revit API, or any other related scripting languages, automate workflows.
– Support data integrity, IFC/COBie deliverables, or interoperability with other software platforms.
– Support teams involved in the project, coach junior engineers or BIM technicians, and liaise with other stakeholders.

Requirements:
Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

– Over 8 years’ experience in electrical engineering consulting.

– Established experience and knowledge of Electrical Design standards and principles (load calculations, cable sizing, lighting, grounding, etc).

Willingness or experience with Dynamo, Python, C#, VB or Revit API would be a considerable asset.

– Knowledge of the BIM data management process, (parameters, schedules, COBie/IFC).

– Good verbal/written communication skills, demonstrate a desire to be proactive in problem solving, and maintain coordination within the team.
