So, I’ve been knocking around in IT

For like four years—long enough to know the difference between “turn it off and on again” and actual troubleshooting. Windows 10 and 11? All day, every day. If you bring up Vista, I might just walk out of the room. I’ve poked at macOS here and there, and yeah, I can fumble my way through Linux when I have to, but don’t ask me to set up Arch from scratch unless you’re buying the coffee.

Managing stuff?

That’s basically my natural habitat: SCCM, Intune, Autopilot—those are my trusty sidekicks. Directory services? Look, I basically have a timeshare in Active Directory. Group Policy? I could recite GPO settings in my sleep, not that anyone should.

Networking’s another story

I can untangle TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs—you name it. Sometimes I even fix the thing before anyone else notices, and when I don’t, well, I can put on a pretty solid “I totally know what I’m doing” act in a Zoom meeting.

Remote support?

Microsoft Remote Desktop is my bread and butter, but let’s be real—I’ve probably used every remote tool on the planet at least once. Security? Oh, you better believe I’m locking things down. Antivirus, BitLocker, MFA—if there’s a way to keep users from doing something they absolutely shouldn’t, I’m on it. Still, they’ll find a way to click the sketchiest link in existence. Every. Single. Time.

PowerShell?

I can whip up scripts to automate the soul-crushing stuff nobody wants to do. Imaging, deployment—PXE boot, MDT, Autopilot—I’ve wrangled those more times than I can count. Not exactly glamorous work, but hey, somebody’s gotta keep the wheels turning.
