Data Entry Clerk Job Description 

We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to keep our company databases up-to-date. This role involves liaising with employees and customers to gather information, entering data into relevant databases accurately and promptly, and identifying and correcting errors as they arise. You will also need to report any issues to the appropriate parties.

To excel in this role, you should be prompt in collecting and entering data to ensure our databases accurately reflect business developments, updates, and transactions. The ideal candidate will be focused, diligent, energetic, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities:

– Collecting invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and other information from employees, departments, and clients.
– Reviewing information to identify relevant details.
– Correcting errors and organizing data to ensure swift and accurate entry.
– Creating precise spreadsheets.
– Entering and updating information in relevant databases.
– Ensuring regular data backups.
– Notifying relevant parties of any errors encountered.
– Organizing and storing hard copies of data for easy retrieval.
– Performing additional duties as needed.

Data Entry Clerk Requirements:

– High school diploma.
– Over 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
– Proficient in English.
– Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to focus for extended periods and perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
– Skilled in touch typing.
