Contracts Manager Job
Job Title: Contracts Manager
Company: SIBCA
Location: Dubai, UAE
Languages: Arabic & English (yeah, you gotta be fluent in both)
Openings: 2 spots up for grabs
Alright, so here’s the deal
SIBCA needs a Contracts Manager who isn’t just ticking boxes—they want someone who actually gets contracts, can sniff out risks before they blow up, and keeps things tight on the legal side. If you’re the type who knows their way around construction contracts and doesn’t break a sweat when negotiations get a little spicy, keep reading.
What You’ll Actually Do:
– Tear through contracts, legal docs, and those “official-sounding” letters—draft, fix, rewrite, you name it.
– Spot risks (legal and commercial), make sure stuff lines up with company rules and the law, and basically keep everyone out of trouble.
– Run the show during contract negotiations—whether it’s clients, vendors, or whoever else, you’re the one making deals happen.
– Handle contract changes and suggest tweaks that make sense (no band-aid fixes).
– Make sure contracts get executed the right way and all the paperwork is squared away—no missing pieces, no last-minute chaos.
– Work with other teams so everything runs smooth and legal headaches stay minimal.
– Keep all contract files tidy and locked down—no “oops, lost that file” moments.
What They’re Looking For:
– You speak and write fluent Arabic and English. Not “kind of” fluent—actual, real fluency.
– You know your way around commercial and contract law, especially if you’ve got the construction battle scars to prove it.
– You’ve actually reviewed and managed contracts before—not just watched someone else do it.
– You can juggle a bunch of contract tasks at once and your communication game is strong.
– You’re good at figuring out legal risks and coming up with smart, realistic fixes—not just legal mumbo-jumbo no one understands.
– Bonus points if you’ve already worked in the UAE construction scene.
If you’re nodding along and thinking
“Yeah, that’s totally me,” then hey—maybe throw your hat in the ring.
