Job Position – BMS Supervisor

Location – Abu Dhabi

Salary – 13000 to 14000 AED

Experience – 6 years plus in similar role

Responsibilities –
Provide the highest level of know-how, advice and leadership in developing the BMS for the projects.
• Manage and direct internally employed staff and contractors in the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of the BMS and system or software upgrades.
• Detect possible future software and hardware issues that might result in unnecessary service failure and hence limit the risk of disruption and inconvenience to the users of the building.
• Keep up to date with technical progress particularly in connection with new technology within the building’s engineering services and building management, and in all areas of mechanical and electrical disciplines/contribute to engineering policies within the department.
• Ensure adequate maintenance access and consultation on any technology and changes to optimise efficiency and to save costs.
• Ensure the appropriate installation and commissioning of BMS elements being leveraged, and ensure all work is complete to a high standard.
• Utilize the BMS to monitor the performance of the HVAC control systems.
• Monitor and capture values of HVAC systems to establish a historical database to inform improvements to energy efficiency.
• Modify the BMS settings and parameters to accommodate changing conditions (environmental & internal).
• Fix any unforeseen technical problems and other challenges as they arise.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and repair across the wider range of BMS equipment.
• Collect maintenance information and produce reports as required.
• Instruct the maintenance teams, supervisors, the user and other staff on the operation and use of BMS, metering systems and reporting.

Academic Background & Experience:
• A technical degree or equivalent qualification is needed.

• At least 6 years of operational experience in a similar BMS position.

• Understanding of the principles of HVAC and MEP Engineering.

• Knowledge in the areas of I.T/networking and software integration.

• Familiarity with energy efficiency and optimization strategies.

• Leadership, training and documentation skills; Software Skills:

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Knowledge of WebCTRL and SCADA.

• Knowledge of CMMS.

Language Skills:
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Russian, Arabic, French and/or Hindi would be an advantage. Salary Range:
• 13,000 to 14,000 AED – Full package. Working Hours:
• 48 working hours per week.
