Biology Teacher Description

Jumeirah College is a GEMS Premium Secondary School offering the full spectrum of GCSE and A-level courses, following the National Curriculum for England. Our diverse student body comprises over 1,100 learners representing more than 62 nationalities. Job Description

The successful candidate will join an outstanding department known for both its popularity and success. Despite the school’s non-selective admissions, 100% of GCSE Biology students in 2023 achieved grades 9-4, with over 65% earning grades 9-8. At A Level, 84% of Biology students secured A*/B grades, with 31% achieving A*/A.

Qualifications & Experience:

A B.Ed. or a degree with a PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent) and strong subject expertise are required. Applicants should have at least two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
