Backend Engineer Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable and robust backend systems and services.
Develop and maintain server-side logic, database structures, and APIs.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to backend systems.
Ensure data security and integrity through effective design and implementation.
Write and maintain clear, efficient, and well-documented code.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, or PHP.
Experience with database systems such as SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Experience with cloud services and deployment strategies is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
