Mechanical Technician Job Description

Job Description

The main responsibility of this role is to perform dealership services on customer vehicles according to company standards, ensuring top-quality work while maximizing productivity and technical efficiency. By doing so, you will play a key role in contributing to the workshop’s revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

– Perform routine maintenance services on customer vehicles.
– Handle minor repairs on customer vehicles while maintaining high-quality standards.
– Accurately complete all assigned job cards.
– Provide customers with cost estimates for any additional service jobs requested or required.
– Conduct final inspections in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP).
– Achieve the targeted efficiency and productivity levels as set.
– Ensure timely punch in and punch out to record accurate work hours.
– Complete training courses, internal assessments, and on-the-job training as scheduled by the Training Manager.
– Enroll in and obtain certifications in line with the principal’s guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

– ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering
– 1 to 2 years of experience as a Technician in an automotive dealership
– Strong technical skills
– Basic computer proficiency
– Fluent in English
