Mechanical Technician Job Description

Job Description
The main responsibility of this role is to perform dealership services on customer vehicles in accordance with company standards, ensuring high-quality work while maximizing productivity and technical efficiency. By doing so, the individual will play a key role in contributing to the workshop’s revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
– Perform routine maintenance services on customer vehicles.
– Carry out minor repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
– Accurately complete all assigned job cards.
– Provide customers with cost estimates for additional requested or required services.
– Conduct final inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).
– Meet efficiency and productivity targets as set by the company.
– Ensure timely punch in and punch out to record accurate working hours.
– Complete all scheduled training courses, internal assessments, and on-the-job training as outlined by the Training Manager.
– Enroll in and obtain certifications in line with principal guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:
– ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering
– 1 to 2 years of experience as a Technician with an automotive dealership
– Strong technical skills
– Basic computer proficiency
– Fluent in English
