About The Job

 

Little Spoon is hiring an Associate Brand Manager to help support product innovation, consumer insights and brand awareness. Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager on the Marketing team, you will play an active role in crafting insightful product strategies, developing product packaging and supporting go-to-market plans. The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for managing branded product development processes, delivering performance tracking, and competitive/market reviews. This individual is innovative, enthusiastic, understands the product development process, exhibits strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and is a creative problem solver. Utilizing market and consumer insights, this individual will support the building and managing of the Little Spoon portfolio.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the development of detailed marketing plans and communication to achieve stated objectives.
  • Supports product development process of renovations and innovations including go-to market plans, influencing cross functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Procurement, Demand Planning, Operations, Sales, Finance, Creative, and Integrated Marketing Communications
  • Owning brand voice / mastery of competitive space to develop differentiated positioning and creative copywriting to communicate key product attributes
  • Manage product site launch process with ownership of product updates and details, serving as lead cross-functionally in ensuring effective change management communication.
  • Manage packaging process through facilitating marketing briefs with design teams and working with cross functional teams for packaging approvals within designated timelines
  • Develop and maintain in-depth industry knowledge via competitive and category analysis.
  • Analyze business performance, industry data, consumer research, and competitive initiatives to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Perform audits and refine the physical customer experience from delivery to unboxing.
  • Support in product assortment and SKU rat analysis
  • Support in customer experience evaluation driving recommendations on plans, bundling and strategic customer approach

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with AC Nielsen, SPINS or IRI
  • Experience analyzing data & translating to recommendations
  • Excellent creative instincts and comfort with visual design
  • Excellent in copywriting/positioning
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced, entrepreneurial work environment and meet business driven deadlines
  • Strong bias for thoughtful action. Acts like an owner and can run independently.
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas
  • Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry
