Web Developer Job Description 

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to design and develop websites for our company. You will collaborate with a team of developers to create, maintain, and update our web platforms.

To excel in this role, you should be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and possess solid experience in programming applications.

Web Developer Responsibilities:

– Design, build, and maintain websites and software applications.
– Utilize scripting and authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, and digital media.
– Collaborate with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, and choose appropriate solutions.
– Oversee or perform website updates and maintenance.
– Develop and validate test routines and schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage across different browsers and devices.
– Edit, write, or design website content and direct team members involved in content production.
– Stay current with the latest web applications and programming practices through continuous education, conferences, workshops, and professional groups.
– Back up website files to local directories for data recovery.
– Identify and address issues discovered through customer feedback and testing, or escalate to appropriate personnel.
– Evaluate code for compliance with industry standards, ensuring validity, proper structure, and compatibility with various browsers, devices, or operating systems.
– Analyze technical requirements to determine user needs.

Web Developer Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Web Development or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
– Strong knowledge and experience in programming applications.
– Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
